Happy new year! And a little update.

So, a little late, but happy new year everybody! Hope it was a good one!

Green here with some news that's sure to make you all happy! But first, I want to say a few things.

First of all, I've received this question a few times, and I'll make this clear now. Mike Inel will NOT be drawing the winners of event-tan himself. It's unfortunate, but he's busy, and just can't make time for it. Please don't hold it against him. (Or me. Seriously.) THINGS CHANGED!

Second of all, I want to remind people that when drawing their event-tans, it is an EVENT that is being drawn, not an object. For example, someone asked me about first medal earlier, it is the event of winning/receiving that first medal that will be the focus of the drawing, not the medal itself. I would draw you all an example, but I suck horribly at drawing. Also, I wasn't specific enough for the time the contest ends in my last post. Nobody asked, but I realized it myself. I did say it was at the crack of midnight between February 28th 2013 and March 1st 2013. What I didn't specify was in which timezone. The timezone I will be basing myself on is my own, UTC - 5:00. That's American east coast time for you lot. Don't mix this up, it's very important, and I will be strict about it.

Okay, enough of that. Time for the good news I promised you all! Since my family was very generous this Christmas, and I got lots of cash, I felt like being a little more generous with the prize points as well. So now, instead of giving away a total of 2000 point... I decided to bring that up to 4000 points. That's right, four. THOUSAND. Points. That's fifty dollars in points right there. So, for the point distribution, it will go as follows:

1st place: 2000 points + Commission artwork by ;

2nd place: 1250 points + Commission artwork by ;

3rd place: 750 points + Commission artwork by .

Remember folks, you can enter as many times as you want, but regardless of where you finish in the standings, you can only win a single prize. You will win the highest prize you qualify for, and the rest will go on to the next people in the standings. Nobody likes greedy people, right?

Well, that's that. There hasn't been any submissions yet, but the folder is there, and just waiting for someone to pop its cherry! (Unless there was a submission while I was writing this. Improbable, but possible.) So keep up those drawings boys and girls!
